Under the approval of Sheriff Butch Howard, we are allowed to represent Rock of Ages/Magnolia Prison Ministries in a Men's Bible Study two times a month at Lowndes County Adult Correctional Facilities. We have seen many souls saved and lives changed as we offer them the only true rehabilitation.
We also
have a few Ladies at our church who participate in the prison ministry at the
Lowndes County Adult Detention Center. They speak only with the
women prisoners. They also go twice a month, the first and third Tuesday of each
month (unless hindered in other ways). It has been a tremendous blessing.
We have a song service, Bible study, prayer time, and counseling time. Our
church supplied KJV Bibles to the ladies and materials, such as pamphlets on
different topics, published through the Rock of Ages Prison Ministries. We
also participate in two "Revival-type" meetings in January and July each year.
