Lighthouse Baptist Church

Lighthouse Baptist Church was the vision of three families.  On October 27, 1991 the first service was held in one of the founding family's home.  The following Sunday, the church began meeting at the Regency Park Motel and continued meeting there until they purchased their first facility located at  5429 HWY 45 N. They moved into that building in October of 1992 and met there until the growth of the church made moving a necessity. In May 2003 God opened the doors for the church to purchase a much larger building and 18 acres of land at 5030 HWY 182 East and renovations and remodeling began immediately. 

The first pastor, Jeff Latham, was called on January 5, 1992.  He served until July of 1993.  The church was then without a pastor until November of 1993, when Jake Bley was called.  He pastored until January of 1995.  Jimmy Banks was called October 3, 1995 and is the present pastor.

Since its establishment, Lighthouse Baptist Church has seen many professions of faith, baptisms, and transfers of letter for membership.  We praise God for His blessings in the brief history of our church!
